Founder and manager of the firm, Todd Moore has been dedicated to the practice of law since 1992 with concentrations in municipal law, including land use, zoning and eminent domain (condemnation), business law, wills, trust and estate planning, and mediation. Todd serves as the attorney for the municipalities of the City of Oak Hill, the Town of Thompson’s Station and the Town of Chapel Hill. Other representative clients include the City of Brentwood, The Pool (formerly the TML Risk Management Pool) and the TMA Group. Todd grew up in Goodlettsville, Tennessee, is a graduate of Rhodes College in Memphis (B.A. History, 1989), and the University of Tennessee College of Law (J.D., 1992). He lives in Brentwood with his wife Christie and their two children, Jim and Mollie.

Matthew Crigger, a native of middle Tennessee, joined the firm as an associate in 2012 after clerking for the circuit judges of the 21st Judicial District, Judge Robbie Beal, Judge Tim Easter, Judge Jim Martin, and Judge Derek Smith.
Matthew graduated magna cum laude from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in May 2011, where he served as a Notes Editor on the Law Review Editorial Board and was an award-winning mock trial participant and moot court participant. After his second year of law school, Matthew gained invaluable experience in the field of criminal law while interning with the Kim Helper and the 21st Judicial District’s District Attorney’s Office. After taking the bar examination, Matthew interned with the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility before beginning his clerkship with the 21st District’s judges.
Matthew’s areas of practice include criminal defense and civil litigation. Matthew also represents clients in family-related matters, including divorce and juvenile criminal defense. Matthew represents clients in trial courts across middle Tennessee and in the Court of Criminal Appeals. Matthew has tried cases in general sessions court, circuit court, and juvenile court.
When not in court or at the office, Matthew enjoys the outdoors, running, and following baseball. Matthew lives in Nolensville, Tennessee and volunteers his time with the Brentwood Historic Commission.

Kristi Ransom is Of Counsel to Todd Moore PLC. Kristi’s specialization in land use law provides her clients with strategic counsel in what has become a highly regulated and intensely political arena. While this field has endured unprecedented change over the past decade, Kristi has maintained a close watch on the legislative and regulatory developments of state and local governments. Her knowledge of land use law, planning/zoning law, local government law, environment law, and eminent domain law is respected by private landowners and sought after by governing bodies charged with administering federal, state and local laws. Many of her clients are responsible for establishing land policies managed within the realm of the public trust.
Kristi’s keen understanding of the complexities of land use law stems from several years serving as counsel to key areas of Williamson County government. This county, one of Tennessee’s fastest growing communities, is currently retaining her to represent the public’s interest on multiple planning and zoning issues. While her legal practice has focused closely on the public sector, she has a track record of advising the private sector as well. Business professionals seeking to acquire, develop, and market land strictly for commercial use have tapped into her expertise. Kristi’s thorough understanding of the state and local laws surrounding land use provides large and small companies with the insight needed to properly execute their business plan.
Kristi received her doctorate of jurisprudence from the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, University of Memphis, attaining the academic standing of cum laude. Shortly thereafter she was admitted to practice law before the United States District Court, Middle Tennessee District of Tennessee, and the United States Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit.
During law school, Kristi received the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence in Land Use and Environmental Law. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from Middle Tennessee State University in 1994, also graduating cum laude. While attending law school she served on the editorial board of the University of Memphis Law Review and was also a member of the Moot Court Board.

Monika B. Ridley is a graduate of the Nashville School of Law. While attending law school, Monika worked full-time as Domestic Violence Coordinator for the District Attorney’s office in Franklin, Tennessee, gaining invaluable experience in the criminal justice system.
Prior to that, Monika worked as a law clerk/paralegal for several prominent family law attorneys in the Nashville, Tennessee area. In 2003, Monika graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with degree in Public Relations with minors in Political Science and Marketing.
On February 1, 2012 Monika B. Ridley announced the opening of her law office in La Vergne, Tennessee.
Monika focuses her practice on all aspects of family law, including divorce, child support, custody,adoptions, juvenile law, including unruly and delinquent, dependent and neglect, probate and wills, andcriminal defense.

Julie joined the firm as a paralegal in 2008. Prior to joining the firm, Julie worked as a paralegal in Nashville for over fifteen years. Prior to beginning her professional career, Julie attended college in Nashville and earned a degree in paralegal studies.
Julies serves as a main point of contact for many of the firm’s clients and assists the firm’s clients on a variety of legal matters. Julie’s main area of practice is family law and she hopes to make a difference in each of our client’s family related cases by using her communication skills and experience to assist them in what can sometimes be a stressful time.
Julie was born in Liverpool, England and moved to the United States as a young adult. Julie lives in Franklin and when she is not working she can be found working in her garden or on the tennis court. Julie is the proud parent of two young adults.
